Toronto is a very diverse city, where you can find almost anything you're looking for. Maybe that's why many people love Toronto, because it has many cultures combined in it. You can find a little corner that will remind you of London, a street that looks exactly like a small European village street you once saw on a postcard, busy looking district that sure has a twin in NYC and so on.
In my last post about Toronto I showed you photos of a lovely Swedish cafe, and few streets of the city.
This time, me and my friend were looking for a cafe that we heard of. They specialize in making crepes, and sure thing, we (or at least I) HAD to go there and try them :)
To my surprise and greatest joy, this cafe was decorated as an Art Nouveau - Parisian looking small cafe, and because it was founded by the lady from Quebec, people who work there speak French.
I could sit there all day long, enjoying the atmosphere, lovely design, and delicious crepes!
Lately I became kind of scared of it, because I get more depressed and because of the shitty weather I don't want to leave the house and do anything!
I really think that people should be allowed to stay at home for the whole winter if they want to, because I bet, not a lot of people are productive during this nasty season.
I love doing this kind of things, so I came up with a Winter Survival Kit that consists of things that I can't survive winter without :)
Yesterday I watched one of the best, loveliest and warmest films ever - About time.
I know that probably after a few days I won't think of it as one of the best, but still, it has SUCH an important, warm, interesting, and correct message, that makes this film so great.
Well, the message of the film is - live each and everyday with a big smile on your face and remember that you're not going to relive it, so enjoy EVERY BIT of it!
Just a day ago I wrote some drafts of what I wanted to talk about on this blog and mainly it was just complaining and sharing how awful or eventless life I lead. But after watching this great film, I promised myself and all people around me that I will never (or almost never) complain about my life! I am healthy, happy person who has spare money, who's fridge is always full, who has a warm place to sleep and live, so why the hell am I complaining!?
It's sad how people only start appreciating how lucky they are/were only after something terrible happens to them. Well fuck it, I'm not gonna wait for something awful to happen that will open my eyes and teach me to appreciate and enjoy my life.
So what if you're not in the best of shape, so what if you don't have boyfriend or not getting the marks that you want? You're alive, you breath and most of all it's YOU who's capable of changing all of that!!
Once you realize that you're capable of so much stuff, once you start loving life and yourself you will live in your dream that won't be a dream any more! :)
Download happy songs that make your soul sing and that make your day 100x better, and off you go. It's a good start :)
If this post didn't make the impact that About Time had on me - watch it (but still, just watch it anyway).
Let's wake up everyday with a smile on our faces, or just smile at your reflection in the mirror, and don't forget that life and people open up only when you do too!!
Let's all make the best of our lives, so no one's gonna regret it! :)
Sending lot's of love to everyone!

P.S. And please listen to this song, it's wonderful (and yes, it was in this film :P)
